LGBTQ Safe Space Portland

Writer's picture: Meda ThompsonMeda Thompson

Now more than ever, we, as a community, need to protect ourselves. With the attacks on the LGBTQ+ community in politics, our rights, legal actions, and in the public, we need to know where we are safe and which businesses will protect us.

I am a gay woman with two adult children who are LGBTQ+ and one adult child who is a strong ally. Finding resources is difficult. Finding resources where we are safe is even harder. We need to know where we are safe, where we can feel at home, and where people will treat us with the kindness and respect we deserve.

Welcome to Portland Pride Pages.

All businesses registered here are verified and must also sign a commitment to ensure their business is an LGBTQ+ safe space.

Business owners who list their personal names also list their pronouns, and those pronouns are respected.

With the attacks on LGBTQ+ people, DEI services, and human rights as a whole, this is where you can find your LGBTQ+ Safe Space in Portland.
